    I've thought about one...wonder if it would fit in my backpack? Have to check the length. Hey Rick, whats our state law say about how we have to carry this in a vehicle? Not familiar with long gun law.

    As I understand it, the Shockwave is considered a "firearm," not a shotgun, pistol, SBS or AOW. Since I have a CCW, I can legally have a firearm anywhere in my vehicle, as long as it's "concealed."

    I believe that, if a firearm isn't concealed, or the owner doesn't hold a CCW permit, it must be "securely encased." I'm not an attorney, and the above isn't legal advice, but that's my understanding.

    As far as fitting in a back pack; the OAL is just over 26 inches.
