Question Ruger Jumping On The 6.5 Creedmoor Bandwagon

The Creedmoor cartridge has been around for a while and is known for its long range flat shooting ability and accuracy. But its been discovered again and seems to be going mainstream.

Any of our members have hands on experience with this cartridge?

I think if I were going to get a Ruger rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor I'd go with this one: http://www.ruger.com/products/precis...odels.html?r=y

Me to sig, but liking it and being able to afford it at the moment are two different things I'm afraid.

The NRA mag has a interesting article this month about the 6.5 CM. I've been seriously thinking about installing a 6.5 CM barrel on my AR 10 and switching my .308 bolt to 6.5 CM. I'll admit it I'm a wimp when it comes to recoil on a rifle. Can't shoot the bigger calibers all that good. The 6.5 CM is also better than .308 past 500 yards.

That has got to be a shooter. I have the 700 SPS in 30-06 and its not fun to shoot. Develop a big flinch every-time I drag it our to the range.
